This Privacy Policy explains how the TokGet app for iPhone and iPad (the “Application”) collects, uses and shares information. The Application is developed and operated by Baki Ucan (“we”, “us” or “our”). This policy also covers the support form on this website.
The Application lets you view and save publicly available content from third-party platforms. It is not affiliated with any social network, and you do not need to create an account or sign in to use it. We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number to use the Application.
Summary
- The Application uses Google AdMob and Google’s User Messaging Platform (ads and ad consent), Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (analytics and crash reporting), RevenueCat (subscriptions) and our own server, currently at api.tikgetapp.com (retrieving content).
- Some of the information described below is linked to a random user ID or to identifiers of your device. These identifiers do not contain your name, but information linked to them is still linked to you. Your data is used to track you across other companies’ apps and websites only if you allow it through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt.
- Your library, the creators you follow and your settings are stored on your device.
- You can change your tracking and ad consent choices at any time, and you can ask us to access or delete your data (see “Your Choices and Rights”).
Information We Collect
The Application and the third-party services it uses collect the following types of information.
Identifiers
- Device identifiers. If you allow tracking (see “Tracking and Advertising”), Google AdMob and Firebase Analytics can access your device’s Advertising Identifier (IDFA). Our service providers also use identifiers that are specific to this installation or to our apps on your device, such as the Firebase app instance ID and the identifier for vendor (IDFV). The Application shares the Firebase app instance ID with RevenueCat so that subscription events can be matched in Firebase Analytics. Used for third-party advertising (including tracking, only with your permission) and analytics.
- User ID. When you first open the Application, RevenueCat creates a random user ID for your installation. It does not contain your name or contact details. We also set the same ID as the user ID in Firebase Analytics, so that usage, crash and subscription information can be associated with the same installation. Used for app functionality (providing and restoring purchases) and analytics.
Purchases
- Purchase history. If you start a free trial or buy a subscription, Apple processes the payment. Through Apple and RevenueCat we receive information about the purchase, such as the product, price, currency, purchase and renewal dates, trial status and cancellation. We do not receive your payment card details. Firebase Analytics also records in-app purchase events. This information is linked to the random user ID. Used for app functionality (unlocking Pro features) and analytics.
Location
- Approximate location. Google’s services (AdMob, the User Messaging Platform and Firebase Analytics) may derive your approximate location, such as your country, region or city, from your IP address. It is used to show and measure ads, to determine whether consent requirements apply where you are, and for analytics. It may be associated with the random user ID or your device identifiers. The Application does not use your device’s location services and does not collect your precise location.
Usage Data
- Product interaction. Firebase Analytics records how the Application is used, for example app opens and session length, screens viewed, and events such as completing or failing a save, following a creator, completing onboarding, viewing the subscription screen and choosing a plan, turning App Lock on or off, and errors you run into (for example, a request to our server that failed). The names of creators and the links you enter are not included in these events. Google AdMob collects information about how you interact with ads. This information is linked to the random user ID. Used for analytics, app functionality and third-party advertising.
- Advertising data. Information about the ads you see, such as which ads were shown, whether you tapped them and how they performed. Google may associate this information with your device identifiers. Used for third-party advertising (including tracking, only with your permission) and analytics.
Diagnostics
- Crash data. Firebase Crashlytics collects crash reports, including technical details of the crash, device model, operating system version, app version and the events that led up to the crash. Because Crashlytics is used together with Firebase Analytics, crash events may be associated with the random user ID. Used for app functionality and analytics.
- Performance and other diagnostic data. Google’s advertising, consent and Firebase SDKs collect technical information such as load times, error reports, device model, operating system version and app version. We do not link this information to your identity. Used for app functionality, analytics and third-party advertising.
Links and Usernames You Enter
When you paste or share a link, search for a username, open a creator’s page or open an item in your library, and when the Application checks for new posts from the creators you follow, the Application sends that link or username to our server (currently at api.tikgetapp.com) so that it can retrieve the publicly available content. These requests also include the Application’s platform, version and build number, and standard technical information that iOS adds to every request (such as the operating system version and your preferred language). They do not include your Advertising Identifier, the random user ID or any account information.
As with any internet connection, our server and its hosting provider receive your IP address. Our server may use a third-party data provider to retrieve the content; in that case we pass the link or username to that provider only so that it can retrieve the content. Our server and its hosting provider may keep technical logs (such as IP address, time of the request and the requested address) for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.
Images and media files are loaded directly from the servers where they are hosted. Those servers receive standard connection information, such as your IP address.
Support Requests
If you contact us from Help & Support in the Application, an email addressed to us is prepared using your device’s Mail account. It includes a short technical summary (app version, iOS version, device model, language and a device identifier) and any screenshots you choose to attach. You can review and edit the email before sending it, and nothing is sent unless you send it. If you use the support form on this website, we receive the information you enter, such as your name, email address and message; the form is processed and stored by our website host, Netlify. We use support messages only to answer you and to fix problems.
Information That Stays on Your Device
- Your library (saved items, history, bookmarks and collections), the list of creators you follow and your settings are stored on your device (and in your device backups, if you use them). We do not receive them, except that the usernames of creators you follow are sent to our server when the Application checks for new posts, as described above.
- Videos and photos you save are written to your Photos library using add-only access. The Application cannot view or read the photos already in your library. The only exception is images you pick yourself in the iOS photo picker to attach to a support email.
- App Lock uses Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode through iOS. Verification happens on your device, and we never receive biometric data.
- The Application reads your clipboard only when you tap the paste button. To decide whether to show that button, it may check whether the clipboard contains a link without reading its contents.
- Links you share to TokGet from other apps through the iOS share sheet are passed to the Application on your device.
- If you allow notifications, they are created on your device (for example, to tell you that a link you shared to TokGet is ready to save). The Application does not use a push notification service.
Deleting the Application removes this data from your device. Items you saved to your Photos library stay there until you delete them.
How We Use Information
- To provide the Application’s features, including retrieving content, saving it to your device and showing new posts from creators you follow
- To provide TokGet Pro and to restore your purchases
- To show ads in the free version and to measure them; ads are personalized only where you have given the required permission or consent

Legal Bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
Where data protection laws such as the GDPR apply to you, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract: to provide the Application’s features and TokGet Pro, including retrieving the content you request and restoring your purchases.
- Consent: for personalized ads and tracking, where consent is required. You can withdraw your consent at any time as described in “Tracking and Advertising”; this does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it.
- Legitimate interests: to fund the free version with ads that are not personalized, to understand and improve the Application, to fix crashes and errors, to protect the Application and our server against abuse, and to answer support requests.
- Legal obligation: where the law requires us to keep or disclose information.
Third-Party Service Providers
The Application uses the following service providers. Each processes information under its own privacy policy:
- Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK): shows ads in the free version. Receives device identifiers (the IDFA only if you allow tracking), approximate location, product interaction, advertising data, and crash, performance and other diagnostic data. Google Privacy Policy · How Google uses information from apps that use its services
- Google User Messaging Platform: shows consent forms where required and stores your choices. Uses approximate location to determine which rules apply. Google Privacy Policy
- Firebase Analytics (Google): usage analytics. Receives the Firebase app instance ID (and the IDFA only if you allow tracking), the random user ID, product interaction, purchase events and approximate location. Privacy and Security in Firebase
- Firebase Crashlytics (Google): crash reporting. Receives crash data and other diagnostic data. Privacy and Security in Firebase
- RevenueCat: manages subscriptions. Receives the random user ID, purchase history, the Firebase app instance ID and the identifier for vendor (IDFV), and sends subscription events (such as trials, renewals and cancellations) to Firebase Analytics. RevenueCat Privacy Policy
- Apple: processes App Store payments and provides the App Tracking Transparency framework. Apple Privacy Policy
- Our server (currently api.tikgetapp.com) and its hosting and data providers: retrieve the content you request, as described in “Links and Usernames You Enter”.
- Netlify: hosts this website and processes its support form. Netlify Privacy Policy
We share information with these providers only for the purposes described in this policy, and only with providers that provide the same or equal protection of user data as described in this policy. We do not share your information with anyone else, except when required by law, to protect the rights, safety or security of our users, us or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the Application, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.
Tracking and Advertising
The free version of the Application shows ads provided by Google AdMob. TokGet Pro subscribers are not shown ads.
App Tracking Transparency. The Application asks for your permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before your data is used to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies. If you allow tracking, Google can use your device’s Advertising Identifier together with the advertising data described above to show you personalized ads and to measure them. If you ask the Application not to track, the Advertising Identifier is not shared, and ads are not based on your activity in other companies’ apps and websites. Google may still use limited information, such as your approximate location and the content of the Application, to show and measure ads and to prevent fraud. You can change your choice at any time in your device’s Settings, under Privacy & Security → Tracking (learn more from Apple).
Ad consent. If you are in a region where consent is required for ads (such as the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland), a consent form from Google’s User Messaging Platform appears when you first start using the Application, after the welcome screens. The Application requests ads only after this consent step is complete. You can review or withdraw your consent at any time: open My Account from the Home screen and tap “Manage Ad Preferences” in the Legal section. This option appears where such consent is required.
Data Retention
Information stored on your device stays there until you delete it or delete the Application. Information held by our service providers is kept according to their retention policies and the settings available to us. We keep support messages for as long as needed to handle your request. In all cases we keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required by law.
Your Choices and Rights
- Tracking: allow or deny tracking in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Ad consent: where it applies, use “Manage Ad Preferences” in the Application, as described above.
- Device permissions: you can change Photos, notification, Face ID and paste permissions for TokGet at any time in your device’s Settings.
- Stopping collection: you can stop all further collection of information by the Application by deleting it.
Depending on where you live, for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or California, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email us at ucnllc@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy Request”. Because the Application has no accounts, we cannot find your data by your name or email address. Sending your request from Help & Support in the Application adds a device identifier that may help us locate related records. If you have a subscription, details of your purchase (such as the purchase date and the order ID in Apple’s receipt email) also help. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. Where your data is held by one of the service providers listed above, we will ask that provider to delete it where the provider supports this. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Children
The Application is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Application, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Connections between the Application and our server use HTTPS. We and our service providers use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
International Transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than the one you live in, including the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. When information is transferred internationally, we rely on the safeguards our providers make available under applicable law.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when the Application or the services it uses change. We will post the updated policy on this page and change the effective date above. Where required by law, we will also notify you in the Application.
